Understanding the Marketing Agent Analytics Dashboard
Last updated: September 15, 2026
The Marketing Agent Dashboard shows what your agents actually did: how many people they talked to, how many became leads, and who those people were. Start with the four metric cards for the headline numbers, then open the tables underneath to see the accounts and visitors behind them.
How do you open the Marketing Agent Dashboard?
Sign in to app.docketai.com and click Marketing Agent Dashboard in the left sidebar. The page opens on a screen titled Overview.
Every part of the page responds to two choices you make at the top: which agent you are looking at, and which date range. Set those first, then read the numbers.
What do the four metric cards measure?
The four cards summarise the agent and date range you selected. They count conversations and outcomes, not page visits.
| Metric card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Total Interactions | Completed conversations with the agent. |
| Leads Acquired | Completed conversations where the visitor gave an email address during the conversation. |
| Meetings Booked | Meeting bookings Docket recorded, including rescheduled bookings. |
| CTA Engagement | Visitor engagement with the calls to action configured on the agent. See Setting Up Agent CTAs. |
Two counts commonly look lower than expected, for reasons worth knowing before you report them:
- Leads Acquired counts email addresses the visitor typed into the conversation. If your marketing automation platform identifies a visitor from its own tracking cookie, that identification is not counted here.
- Meetings Booked counts bookings Docket recorded. If visitors book through a scheduler that is not connected to Docket, those meetings do not appear. See Connecting an External Meeting Scheduler to Your Agent and Use Chili Piper Routing for Marketing Agent Meetings.
What do the two smaller numbers on each card mean?
They compare the current date range with the period immediately before it. The coloured percentage is the change as a percentage, and the number below the card is the change as a count.
For example, a card reading 294, -8.70% and -28 means the current range recorded 294 interactions, which is 28 fewer than the previous range of the same length. When the previous period recorded nothing, the percentage shows N/A because there is no baseline to compare against.
Why have the metric cards not caught up with a conversation that just happened?
The four cards read from a summary that refreshes about every 30 minutes, so a very recent conversation can appear in the table below before the card above it moves. The Accounts and Visitors tables are not cached and update straight away.
If you need a current figure immediately, apply any filter other than the date range. That forces Docket to recalculate the cards from live data. See Filtering Dashboard Visitors.
What is the difference between the Accounts and Visitors tabs?
The two tabs show the same activity grouped differently. Accounts groups it by company, and Visitors lists each person separately. The dashboard opens on Accounts.
| Tab | One row is | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts | A company | Accounts, Leads, Last Touch Point, Status |
| Visitors | A visitor | Engaged Visitors, Conversations, Inferred Company, Location, Last Interaction |
On the Accounts tab, Status is either Engaged or Meeting Booked, and Last Touch Point names the most recent tracked action, such as Lead Generated or Button Click.
For the Visitors tab in detail, see Reading the Engaged Visitors Table.
Why is the Accounts tab empty when the Visitors tab has rows?
The Accounts tab only lists companies where at least one visitor gave an email address. A company appears once a visitor from it completed a conversation, was matched to that company, and shared an email. Until that happens, the company has no row even though its visitors do.
This is why a busy agent can show interactions on the cards and rows on the Visitors tab while the Accounts tab reads No accounts found. In the example below the agent recorded two interactions and one engaged visitor, but no email address, so there is nothing to group into an account yet.
If the Accounts tab looks empty, switch to Visitors to see the underlying activity.
Which controls change what you see on the dashboard?
Five controls sit along the top of the page, and the Export control sits on the table itself.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Agent selector | Scopes the whole page to one agent, or to All Agents. Some columns only appear when one agent is selected. See Selecting an Agent in the Dashboard. |
| Search | Finds a visitor or company in the table below. |
| 7D, 30D, 90D, Custom | Sets the reporting window. See Using 7D, 30D, 90D, and Custom Date Ranges. |
| Filter | Narrows the tables and recalculates the metric cards. See Filtering Dashboard Visitors. |
| Export | Downloads the current table as a CSV file. See Exporting Dashboard Data. |
How do you use the dashboard to improve an agent?
Compare one agent against itself across matching windows, and change one thing at a time.
- Select one agent and one date range.
- Read all four cards together. A rising interaction count with flat leads usually points at the greeting, the CTA, or when the agent asks for an email.
- Open the Visitors tab and read a few conversations to judge quality, not just volume.
- Change one variable, such as knowledge sources, greeting, CTA wording, or targeting.
- Compare the next window of the same length before changing anything else.
Frequently asked questions
Why do the dashboard numbers not match my CRM?
The two systems count different things. Docket counts conversations it completed and emails given in those conversations, while your CRM counts records created by every source, including forms. A visitor already known to your CRM can still be a new lead in Docket, and a lead captured outside the conversation will not appear in Leads Acquired.
Does the dashboard include my own team's test conversations?
Yes. Internal testing on your own site is recorded like any other visit. Use the Filter options to narrow to the segment you care about before you report a number.
Where do I see what an agent learned in a conversation?
Summaries, pain points, discovery questions, next steps, and your own post-call analysis fields are available on the Visitors tab and in the export. Configure the fields themselves in Creating Post-Call Analysis Fields.
How do I find visitors who came back more than once?
Open Filter and set Filter by Interactions. It groups visitors by how many times they interacted, so you can separate first-touch visitors from returning ones.
Can I change which columns the tables show?
The Visitors table adds your post-call analysis columns when you select a single agent in the agent selector. When you choose specific columns for a download, use Export Custom View, described in Exporting Dashboard Data.
Is there a chart or graph on this dashboard?
No. The dashboard presents the four metric cards and the Accounts and Visitors tables. For trends, compare the same metric across matching date ranges, or export the data and chart it in your own reporting tool.
Can I bookmark a particular dashboard view?
Yes. The agent, date range, tab, sort order, and active filters are all held in the page URL, so bookmarking or sharing the link reopens the same view.
