Filtering Dashboard Visitors
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Filters narrow the dashboard to the conversations you actually want to look at, such as long conversations, repeat visitors, or everyone who gave an email. They also recalculate the metric cards, so it is worth knowing exactly what is filtered before you read a number off the top of the page.
How do you filter visitors on the Marketing Agent Dashboard?
- Sign in to app.docketai.com and click Marketing Agent Dashboard in the left sidebar.
- Set the agent and the date range first. Filters apply on top of both.
- Click Filter at the top right.
- Set the options you need. They apply as you choose them, so there is no separate apply step.
- Click Clear All to remove every filter at once, or the small cross on a single chip to remove just that one.
When any filter is active, a count appears on the Filter button so you can tell at a glance that the view is narrowed.
What can you filter by?
The panel has two groups, and the difference between them matters. Account Criteria matches on the visitor's company. Visitor Criteria matches on the visitor.
| Group | Filter | Options |
|---|---|---|
| Account Criteria | Status | All, Engaged, Meeting Booked |
| Account Criteria | Leads | All, 1, 2-5, greater than 5 |
| Visitor Criteria | Filter by length | All conversations, Short (<1 min), Medium (1-5 min), Long (>5 min) |
| Visitor Criteria | Filter by Interactions | All interactions, Single interaction (first-touch only), 2-5 interactions (repeated interest), 5+ interactions (highly engaged) |
| Visitor Criteria | Leads Acquired | Shows only visitors with an email captured |
| Visitor Criteria | CTA Engagement | Shows only visitors who engaged with a CTA |
| Visitor Criteria | Human handoff | Shows only visitors who were handed off to a human agent |
| Visitor Criteria | Qualification Status | All, Not Qualified, Partially Qualified, Qualified |
Qualification Status comes from post-call analysis, so it appears only when the agent selector is set to a single agent. See Selecting an Agent in the Dashboard.
Why do rows appear that do not match the filter you set?
Because Status and Leads are account-level filters. They select companies first, then show you every visitor belonging to those companies.
So if you filter by Status: Meeting Booked, you get every visitor from companies where a meeting was booked, including colleagues of the person who actually booked it. Those rows are correct: the account met the criterion, not each individual visitor. The two filters under Account Criteria behave this way; everything under Visitor Criteria matches the visitor directly.
Filters also work across both tabs. A filter set while you are on Visitors still applies when you switch to Accounts, and the other way round.
Do filters change the metric cards as well as the table?
Yes. The four metric cards recalculate for the filtered set, so they no longer show the agent's totals for the date range.
This matters when you are reporting a number. If you filter to Status: Engaged and then read Total Interactions, you are reading interactions for that segment, not for the agent. Clear the filters before quoting a headline figure.
There is a useful side effect. The metric cards normally read from a summary that refreshes about every 30 minutes, but applying any filter other than the date range forces a fresh calculation. If a very recent conversation has not shown up in the cards yet, applying a filter brings the numbers up to date.
Troubleshooting filters
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| No rows match | Check the agent and date range first, then whether the field you filtered on is populated for those visitors. Post-call analysis fields are empty for conversations that ended before the field existed. |
| Rows do not look like they match | Check whether you used Status or Leads. Both match on the account, not the visitor. |
| A conversation shown as 1m 3s matched Short (<1 min) | The duration on the row is the length of the session, while the filter measures the conversation itself. A row can legitimately display slightly more than a minute and still match Short. |
| Qualification Status is not in the panel | Select a single agent. The option is hidden under All Agents. |
| An export has more rows than expected | Check the Filter button for an active count immediately before exporting. |
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to click anything to apply a filter?
No. Filters take effect as you select them. Clear All removes them all, and each applied value also has a small cross to remove it individually.
Does the export respect my filters?
Yes. Export Current View exports exactly what the table is showing, including the agent, the date range, and every active filter. See Exporting Dashboard Data.
How do I find returning visitors?
Set Filter by Interactions to 2-5 interactions or 5+ interactions. There is no separate returning-visitor flag, so the interaction count is how you identify them.
How do I find conversations that reached a human?
Tick Human handoff under Visitor Criteria. See Configuring Agent-to-Human Handoff for how handoff is set up.
Can I filter on my own post-call analysis fields?
Yes, once you select the agent those fields belong to. The filter panel adds them alongside Qualification Status.
Is Search the same as a filter?
No. Search looks for a specific visitor or company by name, while filters select a segment by behaviour. You can use both together.
Do filters carry over when I switch tabs or reload?
Yes. Active filters are held in the page URL, so they survive a reload and travel with the link if you share it.
