Exporting Dashboard Data

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Export turns the table you are looking at into a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet or hand to another reporting tool. It can also include material that never appears on screen, including conversation summaries and full transcripts, so it is worth checking what you are about to download before you share it.

How do you export data from the Marketing Agent Dashboard?

Export sits above the table, on the right, beside the Accounts and Visitors tabs. It opens a small panel rather than downloading immediately.

  1. Sign in to app.docketai.com and click Marketing Agent Dashboard in the left sidebar.
  2. Select the agent and the date range you want.
  3. Open the Accounts or Visitors tab. Each tab exports its own data.
  4. Apply any filters you need, and check the Filter button for an active count.
  5. Click Export.
  6. Choose one of the two export modes described below.
The Export panel open on the Visitors tab, with the Export Current View and Export Custom View headings highlighted.

What is the difference between Export Current View and Export Custom View?

Export Current View downloads the rows the table is currently showing, using a standard set of columns. Use it when the table is already scoped the way you want.

Export Custom View lets you tick the columns you want before downloading. Use it when you need the agent's analysis of each conversation, which the table does not display. Set your columns, then click the Export Custom View button at the bottom of the panel.

Both modes produce a CSV file, and both cover exactly the rows in the table, so the agent, date range and active filters all carry through.

A Visitors export also carries a few identifying columns that are not shown on screen, including the visitor's location and a visitor ID you can use to match rows against your own records.

Which columns can you include in a custom export?

The Visitors tab offers more than the table shows. Alongside Conversation Count, Company and Last Interaction, you can include the agent's analysis of each conversation.

StandardConversation Count, Company, Last Interaction, Summary, Pain Points, Discovery Questions, Next Steps
Post call Analysis fieldsQualification Status, plus any custom fields configured on the selected agent

The Accounts tab offers its own, shorter set: Account, Leads, Status and Last Touch Point.

Summary, Pain Points, Discovery Questions, Next Steps and Transcript are available in the export even though they are not columns in the table. This is usually the quickest way to review what agents are actually hearing from visitors.

What should you check before sharing an export?

Exports contain visitor data, and by default they contain conversation transcripts as well. Every column in Export Custom View is ticked when the panel opens, so a download made without changing anything includes the full text of each conversation.

Before sharing a file:

  • Untick Transcript if the recipient does not need conversation text.
  • Open the file and confirm the scope matches what you intended.
  • Handle it according to your own privacy rules, as you would any file containing named contacts and email addresses.
  • Name the file with the agent and date range so it stays meaningful later.

Why are the post-call analysis columns missing from the export panel?

The Post call Analysis fields group appears only when the agent selector is set to a single agent. Those fields are configured per agent, so Docket cannot offer them while the dashboard is set to All Agents.

Select the agent that owns the fields, then open Export again. See Selecting an Agent in the Dashboard.

Troubleshooting exports

What you seeWhat to check
Export is greyed outThe table has no rows to export. Widen the date range, clear filters, or switch to the tab that has data.
The file has fewer rows than expectedAn active filter or a narrow date range is limiting the table. The export always matches the table.
The file has rows you did not expectCheck whether a Status or Leads filter is applied. Both match on the account, so they include every visitor from a matching company.
A column you need is not in the fileUse Export Custom View and tick it. For post-call analysis fields, select a single agent first.
Accounts data is missing from a Visitors exportThe two tabs export separately. Switch to Accounts and export again.

Frequently asked questions

What file format does the export produce?

A CSV file, which opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool.

Can I schedule an export or have it emailed automatically?

Not today. Exports are downloaded on demand from the dashboard. If you need conversation data to arrive somewhere automatically, two supported paths cover most cases: post-call alerts can post a summary to Slack or Teams after each conversation, and CRM sync can write conversation outcomes into Salesforce or HubSpot, where your existing reports can pick them up.

Does the export include conversation transcripts?

Yes, if Transcript is ticked, and it is ticked by default in Export Custom View. Transcripts are available only in the export, not as a column in the table.

Does the export respect my filters and date range?

Yes. An export is a copy of the current table, so it inherits the agent, the date range, and every active filter.

Why do the times in the file not match the times on screen?

The dashboard displays times in your own time zone, while the exported file records them in UTC. A conversation shown as 7:39 PM on screen can appear as 14:09 in the file. Convert to your local time zone before comparing an export against CRM timestamps or another report.

Can I export Accounts and Visitors in one file?

No. Each tab exports its own data with its own columns. Export them separately and combine the files in your own tool.

Why does my export show fewer leads than my CRM?

Docket counts email addresses given during a conversation. Contacts your CRM identified another way, such as from its own tracking cookie or a form, are not part of that count. See Understanding the Marketing Agent Analytics Dashboard.
